If you need to take out an insurance to protect your investment in a high-end projector and you don’t need to take out a second mortgage on your home to buy it, a projector will take your home theater experience to the next level.
Mitsubishi has announced the release of a new 1080p FullHD Projector by the name of LVP-HC4000. This FullHD front projector from Mitsubishi features a full 1080p resolution @ 1920 x 1080 but it will only be available in Japan for the time being.
The Mitsubishi LVP-HC4000 also features a 3,330:1 contrast ratio, 1200 ANSI Lumens, DarkChip 3 display technology and 1.5x zoom ratio along with HDMI, RGB, composite and s-video connections. This projector measures 345x129x270mm and weighs 3.6kg.
Mitsubishi will sell the new LVP-HC4000 model for $2,559 starting with September 27th, but only in Japan for now. The release for the US market will follow, most probably, by the end of the year.
