Epson has announced today the release of two new projectors targeting small and medium-sized businesses. The two new models, the Epson PowerLite 1220 and the the Epson PowerLite 1260 come with affordable price tags and will be coming our way only through distribution and direct market reseller channels.

The Epson PowerLite 1220 features XGA resolution while the Epson PowerLite 1260 features widescreen WXGA resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) to take full advantage of the capabilities of a widescreen notebook. The two projectors both offer 2600 lumens color and white light output.

Epson PowerLite 1220 Projector

The Epson PowerLite 1220-series offer USB Plug ‘n Play Instant Setup which will help you instantly project images form a PC or Mac via a USB connection. In addition, both Epson models sport an additional USB port which can be used to deliver images and slideshow presentations frrom a memory stick, thus eliminating the need for a computer.

The PowerLite 1260 comes with a HDMI audio/video connection providing high-definition video content and allowing HD playback. The two projectors also offer HDMI and VGA inputs. These projectors use 3LCD display technology and come with E-TORL lamp technology offering up to 5000 hours of lamp life.

The Epson PowerLite 1220 will have a price tag of $649 while the Epson PowerLite will sell for $749.
