Philips is in Berlin as well these days, introducing at this year’s IFA the new Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum.
Philips promises its costumers top of the line quality for home theater systems with its new product. The Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum features LED local dimming, Ambilight, a wide 21:9 display format, hence the name, and it is 3D-Ready coming in a 58-inch version.
The Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum is part of the next generation of products from Philips which will bring the popular 3D images in your home in a wide 21:9 format. The device uses the 3D active technology and will also require active 3D glasses.
Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 Platinum uses the LED Pro system and Bright Pro image technology to deliver the highest contrast levels as well as a 400Hz Clear LCD and the Perfect Natural Motion system. The device will also feature access to NET TV allowing users to view remote content and also DLNA and USB connectivity which will allow sharing content between devices in your home as well as streaming the 3D content.
The new model from Philips also brings improvements to the current Cinema 21:9 TV model with a narrower frame, making it very discreet and elegant on your wall.
The Philips 3D Cinema 21:9 will be available in Europe in September and we can expect a price tag 3999 Euro.
