Marantz made its appearance at the CES 2011 show in Las Vegas, showcasing four of its latest products. Marantz is proud to present the newly launched M-CR603 Network CD receiver, the Marantz NA7004 Network Audio Player, the Marantz SR7005 A/V Receiver and last but not least the Marantz AV7005 Preamplifier. All these products are already available for purchase and have been brought to the CES 2011 to show off their quality.
In addition to the four newtowrk A/V devices mentioned above, Marantz has announced the AirPlay music streaming feature, available now with their products. AirPlay will allow you to stream music wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch and is available with all IP-based products from Marantz, including the four products at the show.
Marantz M-CR603 Networked CD receiver
The Marantz M-CR603 Networked CD receiver features a CD player, a 50-watt per channel digital amplifier as well as AM/FM radio. Further more, the M-CR603 will allow users access to Internet radio stations and popular music streaming services such as Pandora, Rhapsody or Napster. You will also find USB inputs to connect your iPod or iPhone and comes with D/A converter capability for the music on your PC.
Marantz NA7004 Network Audio Player
The Marantz NA7004 Network Audio Player is basically a digital to analog converter which will allow you to play the music on your PC or external storage devices. The file types supported by the NA7004 network audio player include FLAC, WAV, WMA Lossless, MP3, AAC and MPEG-4. All of these are high-definition audio formats which will sound even better when you play them on your speaker system, with the aid of the NA7004 network audio player. The NA7004 also includes support for popular music streaming services such as Rhapsody, Pandora or Napster and features a USB port on the front panel for easy access to your portable media library. The USB audio feature supports COAX and OPTICAL digital audio inputs and resolutions up to 24-bit/96 khz. Further more, the NA7004 comes with a M-XPort at the back, for wireless Bluetooth streaming if you add the optional RX101 Bluetooth receiver.
Marantz SR7005 Home Theater A/V Receiver
The Marantz SR7005 is a 7-channel A/V receiver offering full support for high-definition audio and video formats from any digital source. The SR7005 offers three-source, three-zone distribution capability, coming with no more than six 3D capable HDMI 1.4a on board and DLNA v1.5 for wireless media streaming between DLNA capable devices in your home. This A/V receiver also comes with full support for Internet music streaming services such as Rhapsody, Napster or Pandora as well as photo streaming with Flickr. You will also find high-definition audio support in the form of Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD Master Audio, as well as support for remote control systems from Control4, AMX or Creston. There’s also a USB port at the back for your iPod, iPhone or iPod Touch while the post-processing options include the Audyssey DSX decoding. You will also be able to stream wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled source with the aid of the M-XPort found at the back of the device.
Marantz AV7005 Preamplifier
The AV7005 preamplifier from Marantz features a regulated power supply coming with a custom wound transformer and a dedicated preamplifier stage with gold-plated relays and symmetrical layout. The AV7005 will fit in perfectly with the rest of your home theater gear, is fully DLNA 1.5 compliant and comes with no more than six HDMI 1.4a ports ready to deliver 3D content. There’s also a HDMI 1.4a port on the front panel for easy connectivity with your video game console or camcorder. You will also find Internet streaming music services support from Napster, Pandora or Rhapsody as well the M-XPort coming with other models, for wireless Bluetooth connectivity if you add the RX101 receiver sold separately.
